Job: Director, Online Content at ASPCA

The Director of Online Content is responsible for maintaining a vibrant, informative online presence serving animal welfare professionals through aspcapro.org and associated websites, and serves as site editor to ensure a professional and consistent voice and alignment with ASPCA goals and positions/philosophies.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and oversee editorial calendar, making assignments to writers and editors
Direct a smooth and timely system for posting new content and updating existing content
Oversee content posting on the websites, ensuring content is designed for maximum ease of use and that topic and content match material format (i.e. articles, tools, forms, etc).
Review and edit website regularly to keep materials current and demonstrate a vibrant, proactive approach to our work
Manage contract writers and track contracts and budget related to contract writers
Direct the collection, monitoring and reporting of site statistics
Support all other activities which will contribute to the advancement and success of Community Outreach and the ASPCA as identified by Supervisor
