Job: Social Media Relations Specialist

This position is located in the Public Affairs Division of the Communications and Public Affairs Department (CPAD), Deputy Director of Policy (DDP).


As a Social Media Relations Specialist, you will:

Develop and implement public affairs and communication strategies for social media and the internet.

Monitor social media and news media and interest groups for information relevant to PBGC and suggest strategies for PBGC to follow.

Assist in writing press releases, talking points, briefing memos, blog content for the PBGC website or other media to convey information about PBGC that is easily understood, factually correct, and consistent with the Corporation’s interests and positions.

Assist in communicating PBGC policies and activities to external audiences through social media and other forms of communications strategies including webinars, seminars, publications and public education campaigns.
